Former Goldman Sachs managing director Javier Rodriguez-Alarcon is joining XBTO as its Chief Commercial Officer.

In his new role, Rodriguez-Alarcon will oversee XBTO's expansion into new products and asset management strategies for institutional investors. This comes at a time when cryptocurrency trading volumes remain depressed, but some large financial institutions are pushing deeper into the digital-asset space.
